How It Works

CentreMount is designed to make displaying a vinyl record feel simple, secure and considered.

It fixes to the wall with one screw, supports the record on soft felt, and includes hidden NFC so the record can link to music, a playlist, website or personal message.

Install the wall fixing

CentreMount uses a concealed sawtooth hanger on the back.

Drill a 6 mm hole, insert the supplied wall plug, then screw in the supplied screw. Once CentreMount is placed onto the screw, the fixing is hidden from view.

The supplied wall plug is suitable for solid walls including brick, concrete and masonry. For plasterboard or hollow walls, use a suitable plasterboard fixing instead.

Hang CentreMount

Place CentreMount onto the screw using the concealed sawtooth hanger.

The rear felt pad helps the product sit neatly against the wall, adding support and a soft layer between the mount and the surface.

Once installed, CentreMount sits close to the wall with a subtle shadow gap, creating a clean floating look.

Place your record

Place your vinyl record over the central spindle.

The record rests around the centre label area on a soft felt support. This keeps the playing grooves clear of the mount.

CentreMount is designed for standard 7-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch records.

Secure with the soft protective cap

Once the record is in place, gently push the soft protective cap over the spindle.

The cap creates a gentle resistance fit, helping to keep the record secure without clamps, twisting or hard pressure against the record label.

To remove the record, simply remove the cap and lift the record away.

Tap to connect

Each CentreMount includes hidden NFC as standard.

Using a free app such as NFC Tools, you can program the hidden NFC to open a song, album, playlist, website or personal message.

Once programmed, a compatible phone can tap CentreMount to open the link.

The NFC can be rewritten, so you can update the link whenever you want.

NFC for gifting

CentreMount makes a meaningful gift because the record can carry a digital memory as well as a physical one.

If you know which music app the recipient uses, you can program the NFC with a direct link to a song, album or playlist.

If you are not sure which music app they use, create a universal music link first. This lets the recipient choose their preferred service, such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music or others.

You then program CentreMount with that one universal link.

This is ideal for:

  • First dance records
  • Wedding songs
  • Anniversary gifts
  • Proposal songs
  • Memorial records
  • Albums
  • Personal messages

Designed to be simple

CentreMount is not adhesive-mounted and does not rely on visible clips, clamps or magnets.

It is designed to let the record stay visually in control: softly supported, gently secured and cleanly displayed.

The record becomes the object.
